چکیده
Abstract Background Pseudoaneurysm of the mitral-aortic intervalvular fibrosa (P-MAIVF) is a rare complication infective endocarditis and aortic valve replacement. Ruptured P-MAIVF angina due to compression coronary arteries are severe complications this condition. Case presentation We report case that was diagnosed accidentally during routine checkup. The patient asymptomatic; however, she had systolic murmur. She history endocarditis, which treated conservatively without open-heart surgery. In addition, with stenosis, regurgitation, bicuspid valve, right artery an ascending aneurysm. surgery, involved patch closure replacement, bypass grafting, aorta After operation, echocardiography showed no leakage from P-MAIVF. Conclusions It necessary have knowledge Following up cases post-aortic replacement using important for both, diagnosing preventing serious such rupture angina.

Pseudoaneurysm of the mitral aortic intervalvular fibrosa (MAIVF-P) usually ensues as a complication of endocarditis or aortic valve surgery. When large, symptomatic or related to complications (rupture, compression of adjacent structures, embolic events, mitral regurgitation or heart failure) it warrants surgical excision. The natural course of uncomplicated/asymptomatic MAIVF-Ps is largely un...

Pseudoaneurysm of the mitral-aortic intervalvular fibrosa (MAIVF) is one of the rare complications of infective endocarditis. Echocardiography plays an important role in the diagnosis of this condition. Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) is generally superior to the transthoracic approach in the evaluation of the complications resulting from infective endocarditis. In this report, we discus...

متن کاملAscending aortic aneurysm and aortic valve dysfunction in bicuspid aortic valve disease.
BACKGROUND The relationship of aortic valve dysfunction and ascending aortic aneurysm is unclear in adults with bicuspid aortic valve disease. METHODS We retrospectively studied 134 consecutive out-patients (98 men, 36 women aged 43 ± 18 years) with bicuspid aortic valve disease. To investigate the relationship of ascending aortic aneurysm and aortic valve dysfunction we exclusively considere...
